if you’re calling on a normal business day, you should get a live person. just write a letter to the address they have on the statement for inquiries not the payment address. or keep calling.Add your own answer in the comments!

Isn’t that funny? They have plenty of live people to call to solicit their credit cards or call you if you are late on a payment though!

Wait until it gives you all your options and then do nothing and it will automatically transfer you to a customer service agent, or wait for it to tell you what number to push to be transferred to a customer service rep.

Go to the website, they may have another number listed or an E-mail address.

Try pressing ‘0′ or ‘9′ or the * key. One of these will usually lead to an operator.

I don’t waste my time on the phone. I could never get a “real person” to vent my spleen to, it was always some recording telling me to press this button or that. If you want to protect your rights as a consumer, write them a letter and make sure you keep a copy.

Try searching for the issuer on gethuman.com. They are a good source for info on getting past automated systems.

Sometimes if you keep pressing ‘0′ it will automatically send your call to a live person

Sometimes staying on the line and pushing no buttons will break thru…good luck. The telephone is so personal these days…yuk!!!
