There are many business firms and companies you can turn to for your credit card processing needs. Your local bank is a prime source, as well as other financial institutions. Then there are also independent sales organizations that offer this service.

I highly recommend Quickbooks credit card processing, FYI – you don’t need to actually run Quickbooks in order to use this program

Start with your bank and ask to apply for a merchant account. Banks typically have the lowest fees and rate. Be prepared though if they ask that you submit a business plan as some banks require it.
Costco also has a credit card processing service that offers good rates http://www.costco.com/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=11105019&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-US
Then check online for a variety of credit card processing services. Watch out for their fees and check how much setup fees, cancellation fees, and other misc. fees. Some charges really outrages rates so keep an eye for it
